To print to your PC printer your 5250 emulation software must support
printing session(s). I will tell you how to use two of the many.
If you would like to use some other one, that is fine. But you must
know how to set it up. The reasons I picked these are they are cheap
($25.00 MochaSoft) or free. and can be used by themselves.
Mocha W32 TN5250
by itself does not support a printer session. They do provide two
printing software packages. Mocha W32 LPD and Mocha W32 TN3812.
Use Mocha W32 TN3812
Download Mocha W32
TN3812. Remember where you saved it to on your hard drive.
Find mw5250.exe (this is the program you just downloaded) on your
hard drive and run it. This will install it.
Click on on file, then connect. Enter the IP address for the host
name and your user id for device name.
If you have more then on PC printer you might need to click Settings,
printer configuation.
The free one is TN3812. It was written by a French gentlemen,
so there is a little French in it, but not enough that it should
be a problem.
Download TN3812
Remember where you saved it to on your hard drive.
Find TN3812.zip (this is the program you just downloaded) on your
hard drive and unzip it.
Now find Tn3812.exe (it should be in a dir called Bin). Double click
on it.
For system put in the IP address, and for device put in your user
ID. (You might need to click the more button.)

Note: Symtrax does not have a printer session.
